93.3 WMMR/Philadelphia’s Preston & Steve Show morning personality Kathy Romano hosted her 11th annual Kathy’s Cuts to benefit Wigs for Kids on Friday, April 13, at TruBeauty Concepts in Southampton.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America will honor Inside Edition anchor Deborah Norville with the 2024 Edward F. McLaughlin Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual Golden Mic gala and fundraiser. Norville is a 23-year Broadcasters Foundation Board member.

iHeartMedia has appointed Pedro Escalera, also known as Pedro Al Aire, to the role of program director at KZEP (104.5 FM) in San Antonio. He will report to Jason McCollim, the senior vice president of programming for iHeartMedia in San Antonio and Austin.

Alphas has promoted Amanda "Ice" Habrowski to APD while she keeps her other duties. Veteran Milwaukee music journalist Evan Rytlewski has been named Web Editor for 88Nine Radio Milwaukee (WYMS-FM 88.9). For the past 13 years, he worked as Music Editor for the weekly and online Shepherd Express.

Cumulus Media Nashville's 104.5 The Zone (WGFX) will be hanging on to Buck Reising for years to come. The midday sports talk host signed a long-term contract extension enduring the continuation of The Buck Reising Show. He originally joined the station in 2021.
