Stoney Richards is returning to Y108 (WDSY-FM) in Pittsburgh as morning drive co-host beginning January 2. Richards will co-host Y’d Awake with co-host Kristen Buccigrossi and producer Cowboy Curt.

News Radio 1020 KDKA (KDKA-AM) in Pittsburgh has some programming changes coming January 3, 2019. Wendy Bell and Lynne Hayes-Freeland will be joining the station’s on-air team as afternoon drive host and midday host, respectively.

The National Radio Talent System, now with 8 Radio Talent Institutes nationally, brings Taylor Anne Wade and Aimee Abel to the newly created positions of Institutes Director.

After more than 40 years in the radio industry, Roger Allen, Cox Media Group’s Director of Programming for KONO AM/FM (San Antonio), is retiring, effective Jan. 11, 2019. CMG is launching a nationwide search for his replacement.

Jenna Tucker has been appointed to the newly created position of Digital Director for Cumulus’ three-station group in Indianapolis. In addition to her role as Digital Director, Tucker will also be on-air as midday personality for WFMS 95.5.

Eric Hadley is being brought on in a newly created position of Senior VP of Marketing. Hadley will work with advertisers on their audio strategy, according to an iHeart press release, "to ensure that clients understand how to best plan, buy, measure and optimize the audio experience."

New York Public Radio President and CEO Laura Walker will step down from her role, closing the book on a 23-year career that established NYPR as a significant media organization.

Nationally syndicated Talk program The Brian Kilmeade Show will join the weekday programming lineup on WABC in New York, beginning Wednesday, January 2. The show will air 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon and replace The Chris Plante Show.
