Cumulus in New York also announced that Mike Allan, Music Coordinator for WPLJ, has been promoted to APD at NASH-FM and WPLJ. Meanwhile, Melony Torres (pictured), former Assistant Program Director/Music Director/Middays Host for WRQX in Washington, D.C., is moving to New York to become Late Night Host for 95.5 WPLJ.

Jeremy Powell gets the newly created position of Executive Producer for the Kicks 101.5 (WKHX-FM) morning show, “Cadillac Jack and Dallas, Mornings on Kicks 101.5.” Powell joins Kicks 101.5 from B98.5 (WSB-FM) in Atlanta, where he produced the station’s morning show for the past three years.

Entercom Orlando has announced a pair of new appointments. Dana Taylor will assume the role of PD for MIX 105.1 (WOMX-FM) and John O’Connell will fill the same position for FM 101.9 (WQMP-FM).

Freddy Rivera has been named Afternoon Drive Host for 102.9 Now, “Dallas/Ft. Worth’s Variety from 90s to Now,” effective February 5. Rivera will broadcast weekdays from 2–7 p.m.

Sports Talk station 97.3 The Game/Milwaukee is launching The Steve Czaban Show on May 6. Czaban most recently served as on-air talent with the Bob & Brian show on WHQG-FM/Milwaukee.

Mornings are changing in Tulsa in December. Tige Rodgers and Daniel Baker will join Amber Glaze on 98.5 KVOO.

Lazer Broadcasting has named Lino Alvarez as GSM for its Oxnard/Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Santa Maria markets. Before joining Lazer, Alvarez served as V.P. of Sales for MundoFox in Los Angeles, GSM for Estrella TV in Los Angeles, and VP of Sales for NBC Telemundo in Arizona.

Andrea Parikh has been hired by NuVoodoo to head up the new 'Out-of-Media-Trading' unit. Parikh spent 16 years handling Clear Channel's Outdoor unit.
