Southern California Public Radio has hired Jeff Rowe as Vice President of Programming for KPCC and LAist. Most recently Rowe worked for NPR; helping member stations to improve overall local station sound and coordinate promotions between NPR shows and stations.

Bruce Ramer is the longest-serving member of The Corporation for Public Broadcasting Board of Directors. The Los Angeles attorney, specializing in entertainment and media matters, is being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to public media.

Country music superstar Kenny Chesney will appear as the featured artist during “The Artist Interview” at CRS 2023. Chesney last appeared at the Country Radio Seminar in 2020 when he received the Country Radio Broadcasters Artist Humanitarian Award.

The legendary Art Laboe died peacefully at his home in Palm Springs, CA at the age of 97. In September, Laboe celebrated 79 years in radio.

Ronnie Ramone is the new Program Director for Adult Contemporary radio station B106.7/WTCB-FM and Classic Hits station 98.5 WOMG-FM in Columbia, SC. He returns to Cumulus from Hall Communications stations in Lancaster/York PA.

Starting January 12, 2023, Entravision will have exclusive network representation of “El Show de Erazno y La Chokolata”. The show airs on 97 radio stations across the United States, representing 64% of the U.S. Hispanic population.

“Fridays with Frankie,” is a limited-edition series hosted by LGBTQ+ icon and friend of CHANNEL Q Frankie Grande. The program will air live on Audacy’s digital platform and will also air across Audacy’s CHANNEL Q’s network of stations nationwide.
