Triton Says 2015 Was a Big Year For Streaming

As part of its December ranker, Triton also released some statistics from 2015 which said overall streaming reached an all-time high in 2015. Average Active Sessions increased by 13.3 percent for the Monday-Friday 6:00AM-8:00PM daypart and by 13.6 percent for the Monday-Sunday 6:00AM-Midnight daypart.

FCC Votes To Move Public Files Online

The Report and Order adopted Thursday calls for public files to be moved online immediately by stations in the top 50 markets with five or more employees. All other stations will have two years before they are required to move their public file online. The deadline to move online for stations outside the top 50 is March 1, 2018.
