Bloomberg reports iHeartMedia debtholder Bluejay Securities, an affiliate of Elliott Management Corp., is one of the debtholders challenging iHeart's transfer of 100,000 shares of Clear Channel Outdoor to Broader Media. iHeart alleges, according to Bloomerg, that Bluejay would "reap a financial windfall" if creditors can push iHeart into default because it bought short-term credit default swaps.

Mitchem is iHeart's Executive Vice President of Programming for the Northeast Division, and Program Director for the influential Power 105.1 in New York City. She's been in radio for 21 years, programming for 15. Mitchem will appear on Radio Ink's 2016 Best Program Directors in America list, which comes out on May 9.

Former Cleveland Host Charged With Money Laundering

35-year old Joseph Gerard Spooner, also known as "J.G. Spooner" was arrested Tuesday after allegedly funneling $7,000 in donations made to a GoFundMe campaign that was started for a woman suffering from cystic fibrosis. Spooner was fired by CBS Radio's 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland earlier this week, according to Cleveland.com.
