Emily Ward has been promoted to GSM for Entercom Atlanta. She will now oversee sales for WSTR-FM, WZGC-FM, WAOK-AM and WVEE-FM. Ward most recently held the same position with Entercom in Chattanooga.

As of Friday afternoon, the sale of Adams Radio Group to Adams Radio Acquisitions Company has been finalized. The newly formed company will operate under the same Adams Radio Group name with the same 24 stations in five markets.

On election night, the network will have live, anchored continuous coverage and special reports every 15 minutes from 7:00 p.m. ET through at least 1:00 a.m. ET Wednesday, November 9 and special reports four times per hour throughout morning drive on Wednesday. Westwood One News affiliates will also have access to custom reports from CNN correspondents and analysts covering the presidential election. Jim Bohannon will anchor the coverage Tuesday.

Early Tuesday morning Spotify announced it was buying podcast platform Megaphone to add to its portfolio of companies it has been rolling up, which includes Anchor, Gimlet, Parcast and The Ringer. Spotify is paying $235 million for Megaphone.
