While many radio companies are eliminating jobs and furloughing employees, Dave Ramsey's company Ramsey Solutions is growing. The company is spending $52 million and adding 600 jobs in Tennessee to expand its corporate headquarters.

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has named Jacquie Gales Webb as VP of Radio. Gales Webb, most recently a CPB director of content, joined the CPB Radio department in 2005 as a project manager.

ABC Audio will provide three specials to affiliates over the July 4th holiday weekend. ABC Audio’s music specials Red, White and Rock Live and Fourth of July Live will include the best live cuts from in-concert performances. And, ABC News Radio will provide the three-hour special Turning to Tech.

NRG Media has hired Allyson Hillman to run the Cedar Rapids/Waterloo market which includes KOKZ, KFMW, KXEL and KPTY. Hillman is headed to Cedar Rapids from Fort Myers where she worked for Beasley as D.O.S.

Premiere Networks announced today that this month marks Joe Pags’ 10-year anniversary as host of The Weekend. The three-hour weekend talk program is heard on over 300 stations. Pags started his broadcasting career in 1989 in Palm Beach Florida.

ICA Radio’s three stations in Corpus Christi helped raise 931 pints of blood for the Coastal Bend Blood Center. Each donor received a t-shirt and a pint of ice cream and were entered to win other prizes from local businesses.
