BEA Receives Endowment
The Broadcast Education Association has received a one-million-dollar grant to endow and establish the Diana King Memorial Awards Fund of the Charles & Lucille King Family Foundation. The fund is in memory of the founder, President and Chair, Ms. Diana King.

WGN Names Taps Samuelson Successor
Reporter Steve Alexander will assume responsibilities from WGN agribusiness broadcaster Orion Samuelson beginning in January. Samuelson retires on December 31 after marking more than 60 years with the station.

Lee Leaves Syndication For Midday Slot in Atlanta
Krystal Lee, who's been co-host of the nationally syndicated Willie Moore, Jr. Show for the past five years, joins the on-air line up as midday host at WPZE-FM. The move comes as KD Bowe announced his departure to pursue other business ventures.
