Byron Wright will return to the company, joining the R&B/Hip-Hop department as Executive Director, Creative, Atlanta. Wright returns to BMI most recently having held the position of Senior Director of A&R at Epic Records.

According to Media Monitors Indeed.com aired 59,150 commercial on radio stations across the country last week to take over the top spot from the CDC, which was bumped to second with 55,759.
Kane Dead at Age 43
Peter Deibler, known as the Premiere Radio syndicated host “Kane,” has died at age 43. Deibler passed away last Friday after a long illness. The host has two daughters, Sam and Sophie which he spoke about often on the air.
Hall Accepting Suggestions
The Museum of Broadcast Communications announces that the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee will accept suggestions for 2021 nominees beginning today through March 31, 2021.
250 Stations Sign Up For Cash Giveaway
The Independent Broadcasters Association has completed the sign-up process for the first IBA National Cash Contest. 250 stations will participate in the national 8-week contest that kicks off April 19. $1,000 per day will be given away.

CPR Host Ray White Dies At Age 69
Ray White, a veteran radio host whose nearly 50-year career spanned musical genres from coast to coast, died Sunday of cancer. White was most recently the afternoon host on CPR Classical from Colorado Public Radio. He was 69.
