Chicago’s 101.9 THE MIX (WTMX) has hired Jenny Valliere as Music Director and Midday Personality. Valliere joins Hubbard Radio from KZIA Z102.9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Beasley Media Group is making some changes at 105.1 The BOUNCE (WMGC). Zannie Glover will move from afternoons to the morning show and J Steele will return to hosting afternoon drive, full-time.

WBUR-FM has a new chair of its Community Advisory Board. Angela Liu becomes chair on July 1, replacing Peter Fiedler whose term ends on June 30. 

One of the most well-known college radio stations in the country is being accused of attacking the Catholic faith and airing satanic music. WSOU in New Jersey is the college radio station at Seton Hall University. The format is rock. The group protesting is called shutdownwsou.
