Syndicated radio tech expert Kim Komando is launching a new daily feature called The Digital Life Tip on July 12th. The two-minute programs will be produced by Komando with a one-minute tip and a 60-second commercial adjacency.

Two industry leaders are the chairs for the Radio Ink and Radio + Television Business Report Forecast 2022 event. Forecast 2022 will be co-chaired by Debra O'Connell, President of Networks for Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution, and Bill Wilson, CEO of Townsquare Media.

The FCC wants stations to remember the importance of filing their biennial ownership reports. Forgetting to do so may cause a headache you'd rather not deal with.

ABC Audio will provide three specials to affiliates for use over the July 4th weekend. The programs include including an ABC News special on how Americans are having fun this summer, a rock and classics special presented by Speakeasy, and a happy hour hosted by country music star Chase Rice.

Another sign things are returning to normal. Saga Communications has resumed paying a quarterly cash dividend to shareholders. The dividend was temporarily suspended last June when the pandemic hit the economy hard.

Compass Media Networks nationally syndicated personalities, Anna and Raven, have started their new charity initiative 'Anna and Raven’s Adopt and Rescue'. Their goal, is to work with their local affiliates across the country and pick towns to help animal shelters adopt as many pets as possible in one weekend.

Audacy will expand its partnership with Crooked Media by carrying 'Lovett or Leave It'. The program will be on Channel Q stations in 32 markets and via the Audacy App.

Zachary Burton is the new Afternoon Host and Music Director for Indianapolis Top 40 station 99.5 zpl/WZPL-FM. Burton has been a part-time fill in host since Dylan Salisbury left for a sister station in the Cumulus collection.

The Washington Post has put SoundExchange on its 2021 Top Workplaces in Washington, D.C. list. SoundExchange President/CEO, Michael Huppe has won the Leadership Award for Mid-Sized Firms.
