RIAA reports strong U.S. recorded music revenue figures of $7.7 billion for the first half of 2022. The report also shows streaming revenues from paid subscriptions, ad-supported services, and other formats were up.

KFGE-FM Lincoln, Nebraska has hired Cory Edmondson as Assistant Program Director/Music Director. He will also host Middays on Froggy 98. He joins the NRG Media station from KFLS in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Ryan Williams will join Good Karma Brands Milwaukee as the Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Good Karma Brands, Williams served as regional brand manager at Audacy in Chicago.

KFNS-FM Morning Show Host Vic Faust was recorded calling a female co-host fat, nasty and stupid off-air during a commercial break. The nearly 5-minute verbal brawl between Faust and Crystal Cooper was leaked to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and broadcast on YouTube.
