Salem Promotes Gallagher to GM in Chicago
Salem says the general manager of its Little Rock station cluster, John Gallagher, has been promoted to the same role for the company's Chicago-area stations. The promotion takes effect January 1; he was in the process of relocating to Illinois when the opportunity opened up.
Beasley Relaunches KXTE as Hot Talk Station
Beasley Media has launched a hot talk station in place of its alternative rock-format in Las Vegas. Starting Monday, December 19, KXTE (107.5 FM) will drop its "Alt 107.5" branding to become "X 107.5, Xtreme Radio," with a line-up of local and syndicated talk shows.
