The National LGBTQ Task Force has launched a new limited podcast series called Movement Moments: The National LGBTQ Task Force at 50 in honor of their 50th anniversary. The series will feature 6 episodes that discuss topical issues facing the LGBTQ community today, such as attacks on the trans community, the role of faith in the movement, and key moments throughout Task Force history.
The opening episode features best-selling author ALOK and TransLash Media founder Imara Jones discussing current realities for trans and nonbinary people in America on International Transgender Day of Visibility.
New episodes of Movement Moments will be released each month, with upcoming guests including Reverend Nicole Garcia, Mandy Carter, Joe Zuniga, Tanya Domi, and Task Force Executive Director Kierra Johnson.
