Key Networks, 'The O'Reilly Update' has signed its 250th affiliate. The daily program launched in May 2019. “250 stations in two years shows that Bill O’Reilly’s popularity remains strong," said Dennis Green, CRO Key Networks.
NAB Opposes New Higher Power LPFM Service
LPFM stations want more power, the NAB says the FM band is crowded enough and LPFM stations do not follow the rules. REC Networks has asked the Commission to create the higher power service several times. Each of the previous requests has been rejected.
iHeart to Pay Down $250 Million in Debt
iHeartMedia announced Tuesday that it will voluntarily prepay a portion of both its $2 billion term loan and its $447 million incremental term loan, with cash, while also repricing its incremental term loan.
Royalties Leap For SoundExchange
SoundExchange distributed nearly $947 million in performance royalties to creators during the fiscal year 2020. SoundExchange collects and distributes digital performance royalties on behalf of nearly 250,000 recording artists' and master rights owners' accounts.
