KBOI Breaks Record for Toy Drive
Boise news-talk station KBOI (670 AM, 93.1 FM) broke a record during its annual toy drive with the U.S. Marine Corps. The charity event, Idaho's largest Toy Drive, saw more than 15,000 toys donated and an additional $45,000 in cash.
WNNF Collects Toys During ‘Homegrown’ Benefit Concert
Cincinnati country station WNNF (94.1 FM, Cat Country) hosted its annual "Homegrown" benefit concert on Saturday. The station partnered with the Police Department of Covington, Kentucky and the Steinford Toy Foundation to collect toys for local children.
WOWO Raises $207,000 for Honor Flight
Fort Wayne, Indiana news-talk station WOWO (1190 AM, 107.5 FM) raised over $207,000 during a two-day campaign for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana, which helps Purple Heart recipients fly to Washington D.C. to reflect at national memorials.
