Gary Hahn, a broadcaster for North Carolina State University, has been suspended indefinitely after he made a remark about "illegal aliens" while offering the score for the Sun Bowl college football game in El Paso on Friday.

Bayou 95.7 (WKBU) in New Orleans posted the news on Facebook about the passing of former Morning Drive host John Osterlind. The station says Osterlind died of natural causes.

Dori Monson, a right-of-center radio host with KIRO (710 AM, 97.3 FM) in Seattle and an announcer for the Seahawks football team, died on New Year's Eve at the age of 61. A spokesperson for the radio station said he was hospitalized after a "cardiac event."

Decorating by the Book, a podcast dedicated to books about interior design, says it will launch enhanced visual episodes on several podcast platforms in 2023. The program will partner with Vizzy.fm for the enhanced episodes.

Audio platform LiveOne has filed an S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for its planned spinoff of Courtside Group, which operates as PodcastOne. LiveOne said it intends to spin out PodcastOne by January 16, 2023 and its streaming audio product, SlackerOne, by 2024.
