Bohannon Joining Hall of Fame

Jim Bohannon, will be the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame 2022 radio inductee. The broadcast veteran will be inducted at the Achievement in Broadcasting event at the NAB Show in April.

Univision Radio is selling WQBU-FM in Garden City, New York to Family Stations for $9 million. In 2003, When the call letters were WLIR, Univision purchased the station from from John Caracciolo for $60 million.

KQED’s $94 Million Redesign Complete

KQED, the NPR station serving Northern California has completed the redesign of its San Francisco headquarters. Construction on the project began in fall 2019. This news coincides with the close of Campaign 21, an eight-year fundraising campaign that financed the project.

KNX News Now Heard on FM

Audacy has launched of KNX News 97.1 FM in Los Angeles. The station will simulcast Newsradio KNX-AM, Audacy's 24-hour news station. The 97.1 FM signal was previously home to 97.1 NOW (KNOU-FM), a Contemporary Hit format.
