Salem Broadcast Revenue Up 10%
With $48.4 million of net revenue from its broadcast division, Salem Media's total net revenue in the second quarter came in at $62.6 million for an increase of 5.5%, up from $59.4 million in the first quarter of 2021.

94.7 WLS-FM in Chicago is the latest affiliate to sign with VirtualJock.com. The service provides radio stations of all formats and market sizes with the opportunity to access major market on-air talent and programming services.
Audacy Revenue Jumps 14%
CEO David Field called it a great first quarter with overall revenue up 14% to $175 million. Digital was up 16%, spot radio increased 14% and local radio ad revenue climbed 18%. Field also said podcasting revenue was up 37%.
Beasley Revenue Up 15.6%
That increase included a 35.5% increase in digital revenue, which now makes up 14% of Beasley's total revenue. Comparing Q1 revenue to the pre-pandemic year of 2019, revenue was down $2 million, or 3.4%. Total revenue in the quarter was $55.7 million.
Study: Radio Grew Advertiser’s Business by 11%
In his latest blog post, Cumulus' Pierre Bouvard details a new study conducted by Cumulus and Nielsen for a national office supply chain. The study showed how effective radio was for the advertiser, increasing sales by 11% and share of category by 15%. Read the Bouvard blog HERE.
