The 10th Annual Thunder 102 & 104.5 Country Cares Radiothon raised more than $55,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The annual event has raised over $550,000 to date.

Nielsen: Listeners Coming Back as Restrictions Lift
Nielsen says the April 2021 PPM survey revealed new gains in radio listening across the aggregate of markets for the second month in a row. The ratings firm says that as the country reopens, consumers are returning to radio in numbers not seen in over half a year.
What About The Formats?
Country is reporting higher shares of audience, which is typical, heading into the summer. Classic Hits is also see its annual increase in audience. And, with the return of major league baseball, and other live sports, the All Sports format is looking strong.
Radio’s New Advertisers
Media Monitors took a look at the new creative being played during the month of April on radio stations across the country. New unique creative on radio increased 44.6% in April, with 20,933 more instances than April 2020. So who were the top advertisers?
