WHP-AM in Harrisburg has debuted Let’s Visit PA with Sandy Fenton. In collaboration with PA Tourism, the new syndicated travel show starring radio veteran Sandy Fenton will broadcast Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

75 Years For KWPM-AM

Located in The Ozarks, KWPM-AM is owned by Ozark Marketing. The station will celebrate 75 years of operation this Friday with an Open House. KWPM aired its first broadcast on July 15, 1947 after Robert “Bob” Neathery received authorization from the FCC.

Audacy COO Susan Larkin, who worked with Smith at Cox Media Group, posted on social media, "I am shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Steve Smith. I loved working with Steve and he was a true friend."

(By Mike McVay) Once upon a time, I lived in a condo, high above the city. I watched a high rise being built near my building. Day after day for a little more than a year, the construction was below street level, and the amount of time that went into the foundation seemed to be as much time as went into the above ground structure. The foundation has to be solid if a building is going to reach high into the sky.
