Albany Broadcasting is leading a series of holiday community initiatives across New York’s Capital Region. Throughout November and December, the company’s stations are partnering with local businesses and organizations to raise funds and collect food.

Pamal Broadcasting’s 100.7 WHUD in Upstate New York has raised $241,164 during its annual radiothon for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, supporting pediatric services for children and families across the Hudson Valley region through listener donations.

Cox Media Group Atlanta partnered with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to collect 10,700 pounds of food ahead of Thanksgiving. The four-station effort created 20,128 meals for food-insecure individuals across Georgia, thanks to listeners and sponsors.

Saga Communications’ Lafayette Media Group raised more than 169,000 meals for Food Finders Food Bank during its annual Feed The Need Day on November 26. All five stations broadcast from local supermarket locations to collect food and monetary donations.

Saga Communications' Manchester Media Group’s 96-5 Live Free Country (WMLL) collected more than 18 tons of turkeys for the New Hampshire Food Bank. The 22nd annual Tons of Turkeys event brought together listeners and local businesses to feed families in need.

Saga Communications' Jonesboro Media Group and Gray Television's KAIT-TV continued their almost two-decade tradition of teaming up for the annual Fill the Food Bank event, raising the equivalent of 535,473 meals for the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.

Benztown team members spent a day volunteering at Ascencia in Glendale, CA, providing and serving lunch to residents who receive housing and support services through the nonprofit and staff as part of the organization’s Guest Chef program.

For the 16th consecutive year, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and Premiere Networks are helping families in need celebrate Thanksgiving with the Annual Turkey Give. More than 7,000 turkeys have been distributed to show affiliates from New York City to Baton Rouge.

WABC Radio, including station owners John and Margo Catsimatidis, is spreading holiday cheer across New York City, delivering 10,000 turkeys to families in need through the Police Athletic League, the NYPD, the FDNY, and other community organizations.

Hope Media Group held its 6th annual Hope to the Hungry event on November 6 and raised $129,442 across its Worship 24/7 stations. The nationwide event provided 38,006 Thanksgiving meals for individuals and families facing homelessness and food insecurity through partner ministries.
