Binnie Media Maine has appointed Stella Mars as its new Regional Director of Operations for the Portland-based cluster. Mars’ return to Portland marks a full-circle moment in her career, having started her radio journey at what became Binnie’s 107.5 Frank FM (WFNK).
Her career trajectory took her from WBLM in Portland to Entercom Boston then Clear Channel Los Angeles’ KOST. She won a World Airline Entertainment Association Avian Award for hosting an in-flight music show for American Airlines, before moving back to the northeast and joining Citadel Communications Providence, RI. She then returned to Boston radio at Greater Media, then moved to Maine Public as an Announcer and Producer.
