Fox News Audio is mourning the sudden passing of sports journalist and anchor Matt Napolitano. His husband of seven months, Ricky Whitcomb, revealed the news on social media, saying Napolitano succumbed to an infection due to an autoimmune disease diagnosed nearly two decades ago.
Napolitano’s career at Fox News began in 2015, where he initially worked as a writer for FOX News Headlines 24/7 on SiriusXM before rising to sports reporter. He was a frequent guest on Neil Cavuto’s Coast to Coast to deliver the latest sports updates.
Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott, in a memo to staff, commemorated Napolitano, alongside another Fox News staffer, Chicago Bureau Operations Director Adam Petlin, who passed away at 58 due to illness. Scott highlighted Napolitano’s remarkable achievements, including his impressive runs on television game shows Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune.

People should not assume about what he died from, it doesn’t matter. Any life lost that early is sad. I also have an auto immune disease lupus and it could very well have been that. Charles Kurault also died from this if I remember correctly. I am so sory for the families loss
It’s true God loves every one and he’s not willing that any should perish but homosexuality is an abomination to God. That’s why he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. This is not a popular subject among the gay community and this is not casting judgment on anyone, but God’s laws are just and true. If you practice homosexuality you will go to hell if you do not repent of your sins. This is not my words but you will find this in the Bible 1Corinthians 6. This young man could have repented but that’s between him and his God.

I have an auto immune disorder it’s called Lupus. Not every disorder or disease is AIDS at 33 of age and diagnosed over 2 decades he would have been 13 years old or less, I highly doubt it to be aids. So you had no clue or any reason to be so ignorant with your comment. RIP sir.

I have multiple autoimmune conditions, 3 strokes, a heart attack and don’t have AIDS. I’m also a Christian. God loves everyone. Not just picking and choosing who he likes based on prejudices.

When I finally got to the end of all these comments about this poor young man’s death from an autoimmune disease and everyone’s assumptions of what he had, I was so disgusted with all the comments.
