Cumulus Media Indianapolis’ 99.5 WZPL and the Smiley Morning Show obtained a significant sum for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana. The station raised more than $1 million during its two-day Request-A-Thon event.
Throughout the Request-A-Thon, the Smiley Morning Show crew fielded calls from donors and sponsors while conducting interviews about children’s wishes being granted. The event, which took place on November 30 and December 1, has contributed more than $13 million raised by the station over the past quarter-century to fulfill the wishes of local children battling critical illnesses.
