Mike Cooney, the Chief Technology Officer of Beasley Media Group, has been honored with the 2023 NAB Radio Engineering Achievement Award during the We Are Broadcasters session at the Las Vegas Convention Center on April 18th.
Having been a part of Beasley since 2007, Cooney’s duties involve managing and overseeing all technological and engineering aspects of the company’s 61 stations. In addition, he has been involved in managing the company’s operating and capital budgets. Cooney has also served on several NAB committees.
The Radio and Television Engineering Achievement Awards, which were established in 1959, are awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing broadcast engineering. and have been nominated by their peers. Cooney’s achievements in the field of technology and his exceptional contributions to the industry have been recognized with this prestigious award.
