Strollin Thru Music City

0

The latest “Takin A Walk-Music History on Foot” podcasts from Buzz Knight includes visits to two of the Music City’s legendary recording studios. Buzz strolls through Curb Music and 34 Music Square East.

According to Knight, “First stop was Curb Studios where Aaron Bowlin-Director of Studio Operations for Curb brought us thru the hallowed halls. He told us about Dolly Parton coming in to record ever so skillfully and gracefully as only she can.”

At 34 Music Square East Buzz took a walk with their facilities manager Mike Porter. “Mike much like Aaron curated a delightful walk thru music history with stories of Patsy Cline, Pat Boone, Gene Vincent and Bob Dylan among others. He took us to the studio where the “man in black” Johnny Cash recorded “Boom Chicka Boom” for his 76th album in 1990.”
