A State Ethics Commission has granted Cranston Mayor Allan Fung permission to fill in on WPRO in Providence. Fung, who can’t run for reelection due to term limits, will fill in when WPRO hosts are on vacation or sick. He’ll be paid $50 for a three-hour show. The Mayor asked for an opinion because public employees are not allowed to gain financially from their public jobs.
