Washington Post Profiles Bobby Bones

0

The iHeartRadio syndicated country host is pushing his new motivational book called Fail Until You Don’t. The Post did an interview with Bones and rehashed a 2016 statement he made to Rolling Stone where he told the magazine that only Howard Stern was a better interviewer than he is because he (Bones) asks human questions.

In a phone interview with The Post, Bones said he got into trouble for making that statement. “People reacted very negatively toward me for saying that. There were quite a few email chains. . . . I got a bit of pushback from certain sects of the industry.” Bones went on to say he doesn’t regret comparing himself to Stern, whom he concedes is the best interviewer on the radio. “I’m glad I said it. I love that article. It made me hold myself to a higher standard.”
