Ex-CBC Radio Host Found Not Guilty Of Sex Assault

Jian Ghomeshi was accused of sexual assault by nine women. The former Canadian radio star was found not guilty on Thursday. The judge said the allegations were not backed up by evidence and “each complainant was less than full and frank about their evidence.”

Ghomeshi said in a Facebook post that he engaged in consensual “rough sex.” Ghomeshi, the former host of Q, a radio show on culture, was heard on many public stations in the United States. He faced a maximum of 18 months in prison on the assault charges but a potential life sentence for choking a woman.

  1. The complainants were just ever so slightly less on trial than was Ghomeshi.
The women were found to have provided conflicting reports in their own individual testimonies along with incomplete disclosures, and the judge ruled on those incongruencies.
Yes, we have flaws in our system, as well.
    Advantage: Ghomeshi.
