New York Jock Dan Daniels Dies

CBS New York has the details about the death of the longtime New York City DJ who worked at WHN, WYNY, and most recently WCBS-FM. Daniel’s son, Chris Daniel, sent out a message saying his father died “suddenly” Tuesday morning. The cause of Daniel’s death was not indicated.

This Jock Is Flexxing In DC

WPGC 95.5/Washington DC has a new MD. DJ Flexx is taking on the role in addition to his on-air hosting duties, weekdays from 3-7 p.m. Flexx started his radio career at WPGC-AM Flava 1580 in 1995, honing his skills, not only as a mix-show jock but also as a radio personality, and was quickly hired by sister station WPGC 95.5 the following year.
