Two promotions at KYW Newsradio Philadelphia. Audacy has named Kristina “Luca” Koppeser as Brand Manager and Director of Digital Content. The station also named Podcast Director Tom Rickert as Assistant Brand Manager and Director of Podcasting.

Mark Pennington has been programming Detroit rock powerhouse WRIF for a decade. Beasley Media has confirmed it is going through a "restructure in workforce" and Pennington was dismissed as part of that plan along with several other on-air hosts.

The NFL's Kansas City Chiefs have announced that this upcoming NFL season will be Len Dawson’s final season in the radio booth for the Chiefs Radio Network. This is Dawson's 33rd season calling Chiefs games. He began broadcasting in 1966, while he was still playing, and joined the Chiefs Radio Network as a commentator in 1984.

John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia, was honored at the Kristen Ann Carr Fund’s 2022 “A Night to Remember”. The event in New York City raised more than $1million for the fund.

Westwood One is launching a new syndicated radio show, Nights with Elaina, hosted by award-winning radio and podcast host Elaina Smith.

Cumulus has hired Chris Clare to program WNNF/NASH-FM 94.1 in Cincinnati. He's leaving 99.9 The Wolf/WTHT-FM in Portland, ME, where he was PD. It's Clare's second stop in Cincinnati, having previously been on-air at Star 96.5/WFTK-FM. He’s also programmed and worked at stations in Indianapolis, Denver, New Orleans and Pensacola.

Cox Media Group has hired Raymond Hernandez to oversee WOEX-FM (Exitos 96.5) in Orlando. Hernandez will oversee the day-to-day programming bringing his 30 years experience as one of the top Spanish Programmers in America to the sunshine state.

Lori Burgess has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer at Beasley Esports.

The Jason Rantz Show kicks off on the Seattle conservative talk station September 5 and will air weekdays from 6-9 a.m. For the past four years, Rantz could be heard on Seattle’s KIRO-FM. Rantz has appeared on FOX News, NBC Nightly News, and KIRO, KING, and KOMO television.

Several students from Hillsdale College have won national College Broadcasters, Inc. awards for their work at the college's station, WRFH.
