Howes To Go On-Air In The Triangle
NPR News/Talk WUNC-FM in Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, is adding its first on-air host. Cindy Howes, formerly the morning host of WYEP-FM in Pittsburgh and current host of Folk Alley and the Basic Folk podcast, takes up the role.
Toronto Stations Launch New Morning Shows
At Alternative station CFNY-FM (102.1 The Edge) it's called The B Team and features Shawna, Chris Z, and Jay Brody. Meanwhile, over at Rock station CJXY-FM (Y108), the morning show slot will now be manned by Taz & Jim (pictured).
Rome Launches World Tour
And it starts in Buffalo at Shea's Performing Arts Center on April 11. The tour includes three level of tickets: The Pit Experience, The Photo Opportunity Package and The Premium Ticket package. Ticket prices start at $24.50.
Shaking Up The Schedule In St. Louis

Mundo Promoted In KC
Pete Mundo has been promoted from Assistant Program Director to Program Director of Kansas City News/Talk station KCMO-AM. Mundo will continue in his role as host of The Pete Mundo Morning Show.

Veteran broadcaster Kevin Battle will join The KDKA Radio Morning News with Larry Richert on March 9 at KDKA-AM in Pittsburgh.
J.D. Crowley Wins NAB Award
Entercom Chief Digital Officer J.D. Crowley will receive the NAB Digital Leadership Award at the 2020 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The award presentation will take place at the Achievement in Broadcasting Dinner on Monday, April 20 at the Encore in Las Vegas.
