Big River Broadcasting President Jerry Phillips, made the announcement Thursday that Halley Phillips has been named Vice President of Big River Broadcasting, and VP of all of the Phillips family businesses.

Syracuse.com has the details about Rich Lauber who is no longer with iHeart's WBBS-FM after 35 years in Central New York radio. Lauber spent most of his radio years in afternoon drive and was also operations manager for the iHeart Syracuse cluster.

iHeartMedia’s 93.1 The Mountain picks up the Premiere syndicated morning show as of June 8. AD Rowntree moves to the 3-7 p.m. drive time slot and he'll continue voicetracking for iHeart in Houston, San Diego, Cincinnati and Tulsa.

Corey confirmed on Monday that he was unable to come to terms on a new contract with Beasley and will be leaving WKLB in Boston at the end of the month. Corey joined Beasley in May 2017 after serving as VP of Radio Programming at Bell Media in Toronto.

Salem Media Group and Chicago journalist Amy Jacobson have filed a federal lawsuit against Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. The lawsuit, filed in the Northern District of Illinois, asks the court to take immediate action to allow Jacobson back into the Governor's Press Briefings.

Scott Beels, professionally known as Bumper Morgan, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 24, at the age of 59 after living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis for one year. Scott was surrounded by his wife Kim of 32 years, and his children.
