Big Voice in Canada Ending Run
After 35 years on the air, Canada's Syd Smith is retiring. Smith has been with Corus Entertainment since 1996. Smith’s career began in his hometown of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Before joining Corus, he worked at stations in Saskatchewan and Alberta in the 80's and 90's.
New Midday Duo ESPN Sacramento
ESPN 1320 (KIFM-AM) in Sacramento adds D-Lo and KC to the line-up. Damien Barling and Kenny Caraway take over Noon to 2 PM.

Miami’s “Sonny In The Morning” Dead at 73
Sonny Fox worked in South Florida for decades, including stops at WSHE (103.5 FM), (WHYI) (Y-100.7 FM), Majic (102.7 FM) and WKIS KISS (99.9 FM). His wife Janet shared the news of Fox's passing in a Facebook post.
Townsquare Promotes Jeff
Matty Jeff has been promoted to Director of Content for Townsquare in Albany. He replaces Steve Richards who left the company this week. Jeff is elevated to his new role from PD of Country outlet WGNA-FM.

The Joe Gets A New Lineup
Entercom's sports talker WQAM-AM in Miami has a new lineup. ESPN's Mike Greenberg will now occupy the 12:00 to 2:00 p.m slot, replacing the Stephen A. Smith show. And, afternoon hosts Hochman and Crowder will expand to four hours (2-6).

Brian Davis is returning to Cumulus as Operations Manager for their Appleton-Oshkosh, Wisconsin cluster and PD for Country WPKR. Davis is moving over to Cumulus from Townsquare in Dubuque.
