Beasley Media Group's WCTC-AM in New Jersey announced that former host Jack Ellery has died at the age of 86. Ellery worked for the station for 44 years, starting out in 1963 as a DJ then hosting mornings.
57-Year Vet Set to Retire
Entercom Greenville Market Manager Steve Sinicropi made the announcement that December 22nd will be Bob McLain’s last day as full-time afternoon drive host for WYRD-FM. McLain hosted afternoons on the station for 14 years during a 57 year radio career.
WBAL Adds Another Host
WBAL NewsRadio 1090/FM 101.5 has announced the latest addition to its roster is Thiru Vignarajah. Most recently a candidate for Baltimore Mayor, he will be a fill-in host.

News Talk 760 WJR News Director Dick Haefner has announced his retirement after a 51-year career in radio news. Haefner, an award-winning newscaster, reporter, and news director, has been the WJR News Director since 1989.

Tina Murley has been promoted to Vice President of Sales at Beasley Media Group. Murley has served as Director of Sales of the company’s Boston-based radio cluster since 2014. This is a newly created position for the company.

Nate Dixon has joined Entercom St. Louis as Vice President of Sales. He comes over from Radio One in St. Louis. Dixon will now oversee sales for Entercom's 6-station cluster in that market.
