Beloved Country Programmer Bob McKay Dies
McKay got his start in the business on Armed Forces Radio while in the Air Force stationed in Guam. He continued to work in radio across the country, becoming PD at 99.9 KISS Country in South Florida and then 92.5 XTU in Philadelphia. McKay died from complications from Parkinsons
The Legendary Bob Oaks is Changing Roles
After 27 years as the voice of WBUR Boston's Morning Edition, Bob Oakes will soon be stepping away from the anchor chair and in 2021 become a Senior Correspondent. He'll work on features, profiles and political reports. WBUR will conduct a national search to replace Oakes.

KYW Philly Revamps Line-Up
KYW Newsradio (1060 AM) is moving Denise Nakano to midday anchor and Jay Scott Smith to afternoon anchor. Ian Bush moves from afternoons to co-anchor mornings. And, one of the oldest radio stations in America, will start simulcasting on 103.9 FM November 23.

860AM/KKAT, has added The Dave Ramsey Show, to its weekday programming lineup. The syndicated money talker debuts in Salt Lake City November 16.
Knoxville Host Dies
Midwest Communications announced on its Facebook page that WIMZ-FM host William Winningham, who went by the name Billy Kidd, has died at the age of 61. The cause of death was not listed. Winningham was inducted into the Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame in 2018.
Ebro And Alpha Connect
Alpha Media and Superadio, LLC, have signed an affiliation agreement with Ebro in the Morning with Laura Stylez and Rosenberg. The show will air on the company's hip-hop stations in Portland, San Antonio and Amarillo.
