Stephens Media Group's WZNE-FM in Rochester  has named Kobe Fargo it’s new PD for the Alternative station. Fargo, a Rochester native, has also programmed in Pittsburgh,  Jacksonville, West Palm Beach and Syracuse.

A special memorial radio show has been planned to celebrate the life and work of Tom Conklin. The three hour program on the Provincetown, MA community station is set for November 22.

This week Compass Media Networks host Gordon Deal celebrates his 15th year as host of This Morning –America’s First News with Gordon Deal. And, Deal is now heard on 300 stations across the country.

Mornings are changing in Tulsa in December. Tige Rodgers and Daniel Baker will join Amber Glaze on 98.5 KVOO.

Entercom has appointed Leo Baldwin as Brand Manager of Y98 (KYKY-FM) and 102.5 KEZK (KEZK-FM) in St. Louis. Baldwin recently programmed WRMF and WEAT in West Palm Beach where he was also the Ops Manager for a seven-station cluster.

WayFM, in Colorado Springs, has made several changes to their network weekday schedule. A morning co-host gets her own show and a midday show moves to evenings.

Regional Media in Illinois has announced a partnership with Gary Metivier to bring The Heart of the Story with Gary Metivier to Regional Media’s network. The Heart of the Story will debut in 27 counties that Regional Media services covers, across more than a dozen digital platforms, and their local podcast network.

Téa Gennaro has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at NAB starting November 23. Most recently, she served as CFO of the Associated Builders and Contractors in Washington, D.C.

Beasley Media Group has hired Cat Thomas as Operations Manager for the company's Las Vegas cluster which includes KCYE-FM, KKLZ-FM, KDWN-AM, KOAS-FM and KVGS-FM.

Long-time broadcaster Mike Whorf passed away last week. Whorf was the host of the popular WJR-AM program Kaleidoscope. Whorf started as a radio announcer on the Armed Forces Network where he toured bases in California, Texas and Morocco. He was inducted in the Michigan Association of Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame in 2008.
