Richards Leaving Emmis
As of March 1st Taja Graham (pictured) will take over as Market President for Emmis in Indianapolis following the announcement that Bob Richards will be leaving to pursue other interests. Richards has been with Emmis for 11 years. Graham is currently Vice President of Sales.
WLS Promotes Morning Man To News Director
The Chicago news station has promoted Nick Gale to News Director. Gale will continue in his role as News Anchor for Morning Drive, a position he's held since 2020. He replaces John Dempsey who retired at the end of 2020.

When the Browns lost to the Chiefs in the NFL playoffs last weekend, WGAR (iHeartMedia) Cleveland's Wazz & Carletta lost a bet with Mike & Jenny at Q104 (Steel City Media) in Kansas City. Jeff Kelly Joins Benztown
Imaging and voiceover company Benztown has hired Jeff Kelly as West Coast Commercial Production Director. Kelly comes to Benztown from iHeart in Albuquerque where he was Production Director.
Brian Shactman Joins WTIC
1080 WTIC News Talk (WTIC-AM) in Hartford has added Brian Shactman as a morning show co-host. Shactman will join co-host Ray Dunaway on Mornings with Ray and Brian.
New Midday Host WGCI
Charmaine Bey is the new midday host on 107.5 WGCI Chicago. Bey joined the station in 2016 while also holding a lead role in the VH1 reality television series Black Ink Crew: Chicago.
Gen Media Partners Promotes Mansfield
Anny Mansfield is moved into the newly created position of Corporate Research Director. Mansfield, who's been with Gen since day one, will build out a company-wide research department. In her new role, Mansfield's responsibilities extend to Sun Broadcast Group, the network GMP purchased just over two years ago.
Q99.7 Adds Two Shows In Atlanta
Q99.7 (WWWQ-FM) is debuting two new shows covering midday and afternoon drive. Yvonne Monet will handle middays M-F, while station favorites Jade and Moe take over 3 to 7 PM M-F.
Red Apple Lawyers Up
Red Apple Group, the parent company of Red Apple Media and 77 WABC Radio, has hired Emily Pankow as Red Apple Media’s General Counsel. Pankow began her legal career at Red Apple Group as an associate.
