President Trump has appointed Salem Radio Network talk host Charlie Kirk as a new, 2-year  member of the President’s Advisory 1776 Commission, a White House initiative which works to improve understanding of the history and principles of the founding of the United States of America.

Bobby Bridges has been named VP of Programming/South at Macdonald Garber Broadcasting. He will programming for the company’s Traverse City and Cadillac MI clusters including Country WXLV and Adult Hits WZTC, with day to day responsibility for heritage CHR WKHQ

Michael Baisden is leaving radio at the end of the year. He will discontinue syndication of his daily show on the Sun Broadcast Group.

Reporter Steve Alexander will assume responsibilities from WGN agribusiness broadcaster Orion Samuelson beginning in January. Samuelson retires on December 31 after marking more than 60 years with the station.

The Rich Eisen Show and future projects are coming to the Westwood One Podcast Network. In addition, Westwood One will assist in the distribution of the Rich Eisen radio show.

Floyd Reese has resigned from his afternoon co-hosting slot on Cromwell Media's ESPN 102.5 The Game in Nashville. Reese has been on the air in afternoons since 2016 with Jared Stillman. The station is conducting a search for a new co-host for Stillman.

Krystal Lee, who's been co-host of the nationally syndicated Willie Moore, Jr. Show for the past five years, joins the on-air line up as midday host at WPZE-FM. The move comes as KD Bowe announced his departure to pursue other business ventures.

United Stations has added Jim Roberts to the affiliate sales and marketing staff. Roberts is a former Disney-ESPN executive who oversaw the growth of the affiliate network of 500+ stations for ESPN Radio and ESPN Deportes. Roberts will market all sports-related programs and services.

Radio One Atlanta is switching up its morning line up in 2021. The Morning Hustle is coming to Hot 107.9 and The Rickey Smiley Morning Show is moving toClassix 102.9.

“Danni and The Jar” (WMMX-FM) morning show co-host in Memphis died shortly after midnight Tuesday night. He was 50 years old. The station is only describing the death as a tragic accident as of now.
