WTIC Host Buys Out Contract. Leaving Tomorrow
Long-time WTIC Hartford morning show co-host Joe D’Ambrosio announced on Twitter his last day will be Thursday. D’Ambrosio said he bought out his contract, which was to expire in June of 2021.

Jennifer Cartwright has been hired as event coordinator and sales specialist for WLML-FM. The station is owned by West Palm Beach based Legends Broadcasting.
Sooners Radio Man Sidelined By COVID
The radio voice of Sooners football Toby Rowland hasn't missed a game since taking over play-by-play duties in 2011. Tomorrow's Cotton Bowl between Oklahoma and Florida will be the first after he tested positive for COVID-19 on Christmas Day.
Goodman Signs New Deal With Dick Broadcasting
Dick Broadcasting's VP of Programming has signed another 5-year contract to stay with the company. He oversees programming for Dick Broadcasting's 19 radio stations. Goodman has been with the company for 16 years.
KSER Loses Employee Number One
Independent radio station KSER in Everett, Washington lost one of their long-time employees this week. Ed Bremer worked at the station for decades. He was diagnosed with cancer back in 2019. Bremer was hired when the station first went on the air in 1990. General Manager Tom Clenedening paid tribute to his friend on the station website HERE.
WayFM’s Thom Ewing Retiring
Thom Ewing, longtime Station Manager of WayFM Huntsville, Alabama is retiring. Ewing was hired in 2002 as the founding General Manager of WAYH-FM, and has been the only manager in the station’s history.
iHeart Promotes Jordan Fasbender
Jordan Fasbender, iHeartMedia’s Deputy General Counsel, has been named Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary effective January 1, 2021. She will succeed Paul McNicol; who intends to retire at the end of 2021.

Townsquare Media in Amarillo has hired Mike Rivera as Director of Content. Prior to joining Townsquare, Rivera programmed iHeart’s KHEY- AM/FM, and KTSM/El Paso, and KVET, KASE-FM and KFMK/Austin.

Chicago News/Talk radio station WLS 890 AM has appointed Judy Pielach as the new on-air contributor for The Bruce St. James Show. She was previously afternoon news anchor on WGNRadio.
