Bonneville's KMVQ-FM in San Francisco has added Nikki Blades to its morning show. Blades joins 99.7 NOW after two years as morning show co-host at KWIN-FM/Stockton.
King Hospitalized With COVID.
Legendary talk show host Larry King has been in a Los Angeles hospital for the past week with COVID-19. In 1978, King began a nightly midnight-to-dawn radio show on 28 cities over the Mutual Broadcasting System. By the 1980s, The Larry King Show was being carried by more than 250 affiliates.
Laing Promoted in Cincinnati
Jon Laing is the new Market Manager for Cumulus Cincinnati. Laing moves up after three years as VP of Sales for the cluster which includes five stations. Laing takes over for Dave Crowl who retired after 44 years in the business.
New New Hampshire Today Host
NewsRadio 610 / NewsRadio 96.7, have a named Chris Ryan as the new host for New Hampshire Today. He joins iHeart New Hampshire from WKXL in Concord where he was GM for the New Hampshire Family Radio station.
Skyview OM Andy Luberda Passes
Andy Luberda, Operations Manager for Skyview Networks has died. His family said he died December 29 from complications of COVID-19. Luberda was 51.
WRKO New Year, New Shows
WRKO-AM 680 has added Grace Curley and Jesse Kelly to the 2021 line up. The shows debut January 4, 2021.
New WDAE Afternoon Team
Ian Beckles and Jay Recher have been named the new afternoon drive program on 95.3 WDAE. The duo will continue hosting the afternoon drive program after the retirement of Tampa Bay radio icon Ron Diaz.
