Focus360 is partnering with Jim Jones to expand their affiliate relations team. Jones and his company Sound Solutions Media will assist in research and sale of all Focus360 radio products.

Joel Shimer is now a co-host of the morning show on 99.9 WODE-FM in Allentown, PA. The move updates its brand to The Hawk Morning Show with Rick and Joel. S.

Blaine Jackson has been named Digital PD of the Beasley Media Group Augusta’s six station radio cluster. Jackson most recently served as PD and PM Drive Host on WLUB-FM in Augusta.

Jeff Moore has been named Market President for iHeartMedia in Philadelphia. Moore began his career as the Sales Manager for iHeart in Philadelphia 10 years ago, most recently serving as the SVP. In addition, Chris Squire has been promoted to SVP of Sales.

Colin Cowherd went on Instagram to explain why he'd missed his Monday and Tuesday shows, the day after the Superbowl. While having dinner with his wife Saturday, the sports host said he experienced pain on the right side of his chest. He was rushed to the hospital where they found a blood clot on his lung.

The nationally syndicated Doug Stephan “DJV Show” has added Jai Kershner as an additional host and Social Media Director. Kershner joins Stephan from Saga Clarkesville, where she was co-host on The Beaver 100.3.

Long time Hot 97 DJ Funk Flex has been named Digital Content Specialist for both Hot97 (WQHT 97.1FM) and WBLS (WBLS 107.5FM), as well as the new WBLS Mix Show Coordinator. Funk Flex will continue to hosting his night time show on HOT 97.

The Independent Broadcasters Association and marketing guru Chuck Mefford are teaming up to provide members a year round series of webinars. Mefford, CEO and founder BrandsFormation©, will host the year-round series of sales-driven programs for IBA members.
