After Three Decades Bitker Retiring
KCBS San Francisco All News morning sports anchor Steve Bitker will be retiring at the end of this week. To commemorate his final day KCBS will air a tribute for Steve and feature live interviews with many sports figures who've crossed Steve’s path over the years.
New Afternoon Show For Z100 New York
iHeartMedia New York’s Z100, is premiering 'The Maxwell and Crystal Show,' June 1. Crystal Rosas joins Z100 from Wild 94.9 in San Francisco, where she most recently served as the nighttime on-air talent.
Castronovo Signs New Deal
Paul Castronovo has signed a contract extension with iHeartMedia Miami. The agreement will keep 'The Paul Castronovo Show' on BIG 105.9 through 2026.
Middays For Mo Quick
Mo Quick has moved to Middays on HOT 107.9 (WHTA-FM), Atlanta. Quick is no stranger to Radio One Atlanta where she was an intern before going to Radio One’s WZAK in Cleveland.
Nick Cannon On The Box
Nationally syndicated radio show ‘Nick Cannon Radio’ has been added to 99.5/102.7 the BOX in Richmond. Urban One/Radio One launched the Classic Hip Hop station in April.
US99 Chicago Launches New Morning Show
The Audacy station is pairing up Melissa McGurren and Austin Huff to host morning drive on WUSN-FM. McGurren spent most of her career on WTMX’s The Mix Morning Show in Chicago as a traffic reporter sidekick turned co-host. Huff is a Nashville native with over 10 years of radio experience on the air.
Time For Rossi To get a Tan
Cumulus has hired veteran Rock radio programmer Dave Rossi, as PD at WKSM/99ROCK in Fort Walton Beach-Destin. Rossi joins Cumulus from iHeart Nashville where he was PD at Classic Rock WNRQ-FM and WNRQ-HD2/ALT983.
Radio Show Moving To Podcast Exclusively
Valerie Smaldone is wrapping up her nearly three year run on WNYM-AM in New York City where she hosted the weekly show, “Bagels and Broadway,” the only radio show in New York dedicated to food and theatre. She'll be bringing back the show as a podcast later this year.
Erika Jay Hops Stations
Erika Jay is the new midday talent at WLTJ-FM (Q92.9) in Pittsburgh. She joins Steel City Media from Forever Media’s WOGI-FM (Froggy 104.3) in the Pittsburgh suburb of Moon Township.
Skid Roadie Exiting Radio This Month
Kansas City radio personality Skid Roadie is retiring after 23 years on Kansas City Classic Rocker KCFX-FM. All in, Roadie has been on the air for 42 years, 41 in Kansas City. His last day on the air will be May 28th.
