Hubbard Chicago has promoted veteran sales manager Mary Eileen Weber to Managing Director of Sales for the Chicago cluster. She'll now be responsible for revenue at WTMX, WDRV, WSHE and 2060 Digital.

Way Media has hired Steven Thompson as Vice President of Technology. Thompson was most recently VP of Technology for Hope Media Group and KSBJ/Houston. He's also worked for CNN in Atlanta and the USA Radio Network.

Hoss Named Voice of Saints

WWL-AM made the announcement Wednesday that Mike Hoss will be the new play-by-play voice for the New Orleans Saints Radio Network. Hoss will join Saints all-time leading rusher Deuce McAllister in the broadcast booth.

Tong Joins NPR And WBUR

Scott Tong is the new co-host of NPR and WBUR’s Here & Now, the midday news program distributed on 477 NPR stations. Tong makes his on-air debut August 9th. He replaces senior editor Peter O’Dowd, who was filling. O'dowd will continue to work at Here & Now and continue to fill-in.
