Jared Merves is joining Cumulus Media as Senior Vice President, Digital. Merves was most recently Chief Revenue Officer of Distributed Media Lab.
iHeart To Launch Quinn on 35 Stations
The Martha Quinn Show will debut nationwide on January 10. The midday show will launch on over 35 stations. Quinn was one of the original VJs when MTV launched in 1981. She joined iHeart in 2016 as the host of the Martha Quinn Morning Show on KOSF in San Francisco.

“The Morning JAB” with Dave 'Shoe' Schumacher and Joe Palmieri has picked up three Maine Association of Broadcasters Awards. The show is heard on Sports Radio WJJB.
After 45 Years Richards Retires
Fort Wayne on-air host Barb Richards is retiring after 45 years in radio. She's been with WAJI-FM since 1984. Wednesday was declared Barb Richards Day by a local County Commissioner. The CBS-TV affiliate has a nice piece on Barb's retirement HERE.
Adams Joins Lotus
Lotus' KPLZ-FM in Seattle announced that Lisa Adams has been hired as PD. Adams, a Pacific Northwest native, has worked in Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Portland, Boise and Seattle. She most recently worked for Cumulus in Boise as program director and midday host.
Woody Show In Pittsburgh
“The Woody Show” will join 105.9 The X (WXDX-FM) in Pittsburgh. The show debuts January 4, 2022.
Long-Time Pamal GM Retiring
After 43 years in radio, Pamal Media Kingston, New York Station Manager Don Verity is retiring. A life-long Hudson Valley resident, Verity started on the air on WEOK in 1979 and transitioned into sales and marketing at WPDH in 1980.
Three Into WBT HoF
John Stokes, Bob Lacey, and Jim Szoke will be inducted into the WBT Radio Hall of Fame. The ceremony is set for the station’s 100th Anniversary ceremony on April 9, 2022.
