One of the most well know DJs of the 60's in Seattle, Pat O'Day has died, he was 85. O'Day is most remembered for ruling the afternoon airwaves at KJR-AM.

New York Yankee radio play-by-play man John Sterling is out of the hospital and feeling great after being treated for a blood infection (he tested negative for COVID-19). He's planning to be back calling games starting Wednesday. Neil Best spoke to the 82-year old broadcaster for an article in Newsday .

Former Cumulus GM and Pamal Executive Steve Borneman has joined Jam Media Solutions as COO. Borneman will be responsible for JAM Media's seven radio stations and two online newspapers in North Carolina and Iowa.

John "Records" Landecker is returning to the airwaves for a short stint on WGN Radio AM 720. The Chicago radio legend will host the morning show the week of August 10.

Jim Bryant is stepping away as President of 2060 Digital and will be leaving Hubbard Radio. Bryant has been with Hubbard for 27 years.

Known on the radio as the Midnight Cowboy, Bill Mack has died from complications of COVID-19. Mack was also a writer of country music and a performer.

ALT Rock 99.3 turns mornings over to The Woody Show, August 3. The show has been in national syndication since 2017.
