Beasley Media Group has announced the company has signed a new multi-year extension with Mason Dixon to continue hosting afternoons on Q105 (WRBQ-FM) in Tampa. Dixon has worked for the station for over 20 years in two different runs.

Keisha Salmon has been named the executive director of the Association of Independents in Radio. She succeeds interim Executive Director Amanda Hickman who has led the organization since September 2021.

KMFA Classical 89.5 in Austin, Texas has moved Virginia Alvarez up to Director of Development. She has been Director of Individual Giving since 2016; and takes over for David Hammond.

The Bob & Tom Show got out of the studio and took a trip to Louisville, KY. The syndicated morning show visited affiliate WQMF-FM to help the station kick-off two weekends of rock festivals.

WCBS-AM New York News Director Tim Scheld was installed as Chair of the Radio Television Digital News Association on Friday at RTDNA22 in Indianapolis. Scheld will serve in that role for one year.

The Des Moines Register reports that Elder is 'kicking the tires' after a visit to Iowa where Elder tells the paper that at his earlier visit to the Iowa State Fair residents recognized him from his radio show and were pushing him to run. READ IT.

Syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey hosted two events in Arizona this week with Bonneville affiliate KTAR-FM. Building Wealth Live was held at the Central Christian Church in Mesa. Both nights sold out with over 4,000 attendees.

David "DaveMan" Bjorklund is returning to WLVQ-FM in Columbus, OH. He hosted middays at the Columbus Radio Group station from 1994-2006.

iHeartMedia Division President Scott Hopeck has confirmed that Market Presidents Kelly Kibler (Dallas) and Matt Martin (San Antonio and Austin) are no longer with the company. Hopeck says Paul Corvino will now oversee those markets as the Region President. No reason for the change was given.

PromoSuite has promoted Nia Addison into the newly created position of Customer Success & Renewal Contract Manager. Addison will manage the contract renewal process with PromoSuite's sales teams.
