Sports bet tracking and analytics app Juice Reel says VSIN chairman Dan Mason has joined the company as an investor and strategic advisor. The app allows sports fans to sync their bets across different sports books and monitor the valuation of their bets in real-time.

The New York Post is reporting that Michael Kay is contemplating a retirement from New York ESPN Radio station WEPN (98.7 FM), where he has hosted the weekday afternoon drive program since the station flipped to sports talk in 2012. Kay says no decision has been made.

Randy Lemmon, a Houston radio host whose gardening program was on the air for nearly three decades, died on Wednesday. Lemmon passed away on his birthday at the age of 61. The cause of death was attributed to complications from a stroke.

Max Media's River Radio says it has hired Missouri native Whitney Thomas to serve as the morning show host at Cape Giradeau's country station KEZS (102.9 FM, K103). She takes over the morning time slot from Kent Crider, who hosted at the station for two decades.

Cumulus has appointed Darlene Park as Vice President of its station cluster in Indianapolis. Park joins Cumulus from Denver, where she worked as the D.O.S. for Bonneville's stations there; she also serves on RAB's Sales Advisory Committee.

Beasley Media Group has appointed digital program director "Cody" Blaine Jackson as the newest morning co-host at Augusta's WKXC (99.5 FM, Kicks 99). Jackson joins Bryan "Dub" Axelson on the morning show.

The Georgia Association of Broadcasters has announced its list of Hall of Famers for 2023. Play-by-play announcer Al Ciraldo, WSB morning host Scott Slade, Audacy's Atlanta market manager Rick Caffey and GPR operations manager Tom Barclay were among those honored.

Beasley Media Group has appointed Ariana Sheehan as its director of digital content strategy. In her role at Beasley, Sheehan will work with executives Erika Beasley and Jennifer Williams to create digital content strategies that help grow Beasley's online audience.

Beasley Media has brought "Screamin' Scott" Randall to its Detroit classic rock station, WCSX (94.7 FM). Randall moves from active rock station WRIF (101.1 FM), where he hosted weeknights; Aimee Faykosh will fill in during the night at WRIF until the station can find a permanent host.

iHeartMedia has hired Jessamyn McIntyre as APD at Seattle sports station KJR-FM. McIntyre's hiring by iHeartMedia returns her to the broadcasting industry. She joins from the Washington State Department of Health, where she worked in an executive communications role.
