Cumulus Delivers For Nashville
On Friday, Cumulus Nashville's NASH FM 103.3, 104-5 The Zone, 92Q, Super Talk 99.7 WTN and 95.5 NASH ICON teamed up with Edley’s BBQ for the Cumulus Cares Tornado Relief Radiothon. Over $235,000 was collected for the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund.
Program Lineup Changes At WCMC
WCMC-FM/Raleigh (99.9 The Fan) has named Adam Gold, previously co-host for Adam & Joe airing in afternoon drive, to a new midday show, The Adam Gold Show. Joe Giglio, who has covered and written about NC State and UNC, among other local sports in The Triangle the past 20 years, inherits Gold’s spot.

Westwood One Dropping NBC Sports Radio
And the future of the sports network that launched in 2012 is certainly unclear at this point. A memo to affiliates stated that Westwood is ending distribution at the end of March. Westwood One also distributes CBS Sports Radio.
Another Year For You
The RMLC notified stations this week that, as radio's fight with GMR rolls toward a trial, GMR has offered a one-year extension for stations airing artists on the GMR roster. The current agreements expire at the end of March. Previous deals were only offered for six months. So, if you see Irving Azoff on your caller ID this month, you may want to pick up.
