Former Detroit Lions Offensive Lineman T.J. Lang has been added to the Detroit Lions Radio Network. Lang will join 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) as a sideline reporter for the upcoming NFL season.
Cumulus Q2 Revenue up 54%
That's compared to a severely depressed Q2 in 2020 due to the pandemic. With revenue of $224.7 million Cumulus lost $5.9 million in Q2 compared to a loss of $36 million a year ago. In Q2 2019 Cumulus revenue was $280 million.
Salem Broadcast Revenue Up 18.7%
Another radio company is showing positive revenue signs and edging toward pre-COVID revenue numbers. While Salem Media's radio revenue is not yet back to 2019 levels, CEO Ed Atsinger says the company is on its way and making solid progress.
